Educational Opportunities

The Family Resource Network offers a variety of educational opportunities for both professionals and families. Our trainings and education programs are offered virtually and in person. Topics include epilepsy, autism, transition, IEP development, and caregiving, to name a few.

Autism Scholarship Program

A scholarship opportunity for graduating New Jersey high school residents with a diagnosis of Autism who plan on pursuing post-secondary education at a college or vocational level. Application due May 1.

Epilepsy Public and Professional Presentations

Training and in-services on the medical, educational and social impact of epilepsy available to any interested organizations. Specialized training available for: school nurses, school personnel, students, seniors, first responders, and law enforcement.

Epilepsy Scholarship Program

For graduating high school seniors with epilepsy who are pursuing their educational goals and who have financial need. Scholarship recipients are selected through a competitive process.

KIDZ Connect

KIDZ Connect Training helps school-age children with intellectual & developmental disabilities successfully integrate with their peers in existing after school programs by providing free training to after school staff.

    The 48th Annual Golf Classic is a day-long event in which guests enjoy 18 holes of golf at the Upper Montclair Country Club, New Jersey’s top private golf club.

    Seize the Wave will give children the opportunity to have surf lessons by providing the necessary safeguards required while spreading education and awareness to the general public.

    Epilepsy Services of New Jersey’s Walk for the One is a Halloween-themed 5k walk/run complete with assorted activities and resources for families to enjoy while aiding ESNJ’s quest in raising funds and spreading awareness to improve the quality of life of those living with Epilepsy.
  • 13th Annual Paint The Pony Purple
    ESNJ’s Paint the Pony Purple is held every year at The Stone Pony in Asbury Park New Jersey to raise awareness for Epilepsy and provide a safe and fun concert for individuals with Epilepsy and their families.
  • Medicinal Cannabis Symposium
    A virtual Medicinal Cannabis Symposium on April 20, 2022 to educate, inform, and inspire patients and caregivers about the appropriate pathways for safe access to medicinal cannabis.
